Since its founding in 1984, the Magic City Bar Association has served as a catalyst for positive change throughout Birmingham and the legal profession. Our members have gone on to become respected attorneys, judges, elected officials, and community leaders committed to advancing justice and expanding opportunity.
 
Through scholarship programs, community outreach, public education, mentorship, public interest advocacy, and strategic partnerships, MCBA continues to invest in the next generation of legal leaders while addressing issues that impact our community. We have awarded tens of thousands of dollars in scholarships to aspiring law students, sponsored summer law clerkships, collaborated with the Birmingham Bar Association and other organizations, and championed initiatives that promote equity, access to justice, and meaningful change.
